ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for developing an overall strategy to streamline warehouse process and provide senior management visibility to warehouse performance.
• Analyze Failure transaction and work with IT to implement short-term and long-term solutions.

• Responsible for procurement of Silicon parts which are PMIC, Controller and DRAM commodity and ensure purchases are released within company standard policy and terms negotiated.
• Process purchase requisitions, placement of order and perform PO rescheduling per MRP report on monthly basis.
• High awareness on the fluctuation forecast and well control of inventories by execute PO rescheduling and cancellation if required to ensure inventory levels are met within goals set.
• Collaborating extensively with vendors and warehouse personnel to timely receiving and expediting of material to ensure continuous support to the production line and no line down.
• Maintain good communications with Global Commodity Manager (GCM) to establish and manages supplier performance and assist in building effective partnership.
• Work closely with internal parties to achieve zero materials liability and minimize excess/obsolescence.
• Perform vendor performance appraisal on quarterly basis and continuously monitor suppliers’ delivery and quality performance through supplier scorecard key performance measurements.

Some of your duties will include:

·        Responsible to ensure the flow of materials and supplies is received and issued in a safe and timely manner that contributes to high service level. This position also ensures safe and efficient warehouse operation for the area of responsibility.

·        To oversee and direct daily warehouse operational activities and functions including receipt, item checking, discrepancies, storage, bin location maintenance, parts preservation and issuing Company inventory.

·        To provide supervision and advice to warehouseman and subordinates in safe warehousing techniques, inventory storage methods and stock rotation to ensure inventory is controlled in an efficient manner.

·        Ensure that appropriate documentation and authorizations are correct for the receipt, issuance and shipment of materials and supplies.

·     Ensure that receiving operations are conducted in a timely manner and ensure discrepancy reports are processed when discrepancies exist.

·     Report the status of warehousing activities to Senior Specialist warehouse on a regular basis.

·     Monitor the warehouse non-action report to ensure warehouse acquittals have been processed in a timely manner.

·     Oversee roster schedules and shift rotations to ensure adequate manpower coverage to support continued operations.

·     Coordinate stock-outs of Critical spares to Inventory Control and Expediting sections.

·     Respond immediately to the emergency requirements of equipment breakdowns to support operational requirements.

·     Report to Senior Specialist Warehouse about stock that is unserviceable or damaged due to incorrect storage practices.

·     Other duties as assigned.

Purchasing Buyer is responsible for supporting the procurement process by handling administrative tasks such as purchase order creation, vendor communication, and delivery  management. This role ensures that purchasing activities are processed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company policies.

• Purchase Order Processing:
  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) based on approved requisitions and ensure accuracy in details such as quantity, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Submit POs to suppliers and follow up on confirmation and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates in procurement software or ERP systems.
• Vendor Communication:
  • Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery times, and product availability.
  • Resolve any basic issues related to orders, including delivery delays, invoice discrepancies, and item shortages.
  • Maintain professional and positive relationships with vendors.
• Invoice Verification:
  • Work with the finance and accounts payable teams to verify that supplier invoices match purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices for payment to suppliers.
• Administrative Support:
  • Provide general administrative support to the purchasing department, including filing, responding to inquiries, and assisting with supplier documentation.
  • Assist with preparing reports on procurement activities such as open orders, delivery schedules, and purchase spend.
• Compliance and Policy Adherence:
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the team in ensuring that purchasing follows ethical standards and regulations.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify areas where the purchasing process can be streamlined and suggest improvements.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve procurement knowledge and skills.
