About the opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative within our Swanley Distribution Centre.

In this role you will be working within a busy warehouse department and will be responsible for the accurate assessing of controlled drug counts, credit returns, new products, perpetual inventory checks and any other request on warehouse items. It is key that you ensure that the correct number and type of product is correctly logged. You will need to meet minimum productivity and quality standards and comply with policies and legal requirements in relation to the role.

Working closely with a dedicated team, you'll contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you coordinate efforts to achieve operational excellence.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.

Job Description
A key position within the factory responsible for the raw material planning, manufacturing operations and distribution of the finished product. As well as operating a state-of-the-art dry mortar factory, you will also be responsible for the daily planning of all raw material deliveries and the daily planning of the delivery fleet. Daily direct contact with our customer base, you will deliver a market leading service for both product delivery and equipment servicing.

Key Responsibilities
You will be trained to operate both a state-of-the-art sand drying system and a state-of-the-art mortar mixing plant, becoming a skilled plant operator and team leader. You will be responsible for production planning, ordering raw materials and producing finished product to meet a demanding and busy order book. You will be required to lead your production team and supervise both the delivery team and service team, delivering a high level of service. The position

• This full-time permanent position,you will be responsible for driving around the region based in and around Maidstone to complete audits on deliveries.
• Rate of pay: £25,043 per annum
• Weekly hours: 40 hours plus 30 min unpaid break (8.5 hours per day) concessions made to 6 hours per day based on stores visits +50 miles.
• Shift patterns Monday-Friday, within a window of 06:00-16:00

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Mobile Accuracy Checker, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering our customer store is accurate.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of multiple supplier deliveries at customer store level.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock arriving at stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.
