Company background: One of Singapore's established financial institution company

Location: Central (Newton)

Working Hours: 5 Days Work Week, Mon to Fri (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Remuneration Package:

• Basic up to S$ 3600
• Performance Bonus (~3 months)
• Flexi Dollars S$ 800

Job Responsibilities:

• Making collection calls
• Timely and effective collection of all debts and customers payments
• Negotiating re-payment plans
• Liaising with lawyer to follow up on the legal action taken against the bad paymasters
• Liaising with vehicle repossessors to follow up on repossessed vehicles
• Maintaining contact with clients to ensure outstanding balance are clear for payment
• Resolving queries both internally and externally around customers outstanding balance
• Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems

Requirements:

• Knowledge of hire purchase cases and hire purchase operations, legal recovery
• Experience in whole cycle of legal process of debt collection
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders
• Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
• Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
• Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
