Role: Procurement Manager
Position Summary / Project DescriptionL
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Business Partner with expertise in Ariba system management to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily procurement operations, procurement process, managing stakeholder and vendor relationships, and optimizing the utilization of the Ariba system to streamline purchasing operations.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, Evaluation, Contracting and vendor management.
- Utilize the Ariba system to create purchase orders, manage contracts, and track procurement activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement activities and organizational objectives.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to secure favourable agreements and optimize cost savings.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain service levels and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular analysis of procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and process improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supply chain management.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/Business Administration/IT/Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in procurement. Experience in IT procurement, Healthcare industry, formulation and review of procurement policies and procedures are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Ariba system management, including experience with purchase to order, source to contract management, and supplier collaboration.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
