In this role, you will be responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices for all Group companies and handling ad-hoc purchase ledger queries under the supervision of the Purchase Ledger Coordinator. We are working with a leading manufacturing firm with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. This role is critical to their operations and offers a dynamic work environment where confidentiality and discretion are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process purchase invoices and maintain the purchase ledger.
• Reconcile supplier statements to ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare payment runs and manage cash flow related to supplier payments.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
• Maintain confidential financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Proficient in using ERP systems
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

3. Administrative Support:
   • Assist the Finance Department with tasks like photocopying, correspondence, and filing.
4. Petty Cash Management:
   • Accurately process petty cash documentation.
