Location: Hybrid working. Primarily remote with occasional office travel when required (normally Nuneaton or Oxford).
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 dependent upon experience, plus car / car allowance, 33 days holiday, pension, life assurance, employee

As a Bid Writer at Unipart Logistics you will support with creating rich and compelling content for warehousing and transport
opportunities across multiple sectors. Engaging with dynamic and forward-thinking colleagues from across the entire organisation,
our goal is to deliver vibrant bid-winning proposals with persuasive writing at the heart of every submission.
As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
* Be responsible for our bid library, writing engaging, concise and persuasive content and case studies across varied subject
areas.
* Recycle high-quality content within our content library and be responsible for its ongoing management, ensuring a high-quality
look and feel.
* Support with bid submissions, presentations and other bidding collateral as required.
* Support with ongoing development within the wider UL bid management team, collaboratively ensuring we deliver continuous
improvement within our processes and procedures.
* On occasion, for smaller tactical bids, be accountable for managing the response to public and private tenders and proposals,
across any of our sectors. Here, you will lead a ‘virtual Bid team’ through the defined UL bid management process. This will
include sector-specific experts across: Business Development, Operations, Solution Design, Project Management, Finance, IT, HR
and Commercial.
* Act as an ambassador for bid management practices across the sector and wider Unipart Logistics business.
About You
We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this
role!
* The ability to confidently and persuasively write to a high level, understanding how to correctly structure bid content.
* Articulate, with strong verbal and presentation skills.
* A proficient user of Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint and Word.
* Bid management experience in the public and private sector.
* Experience operating with senior colleagues and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage workload timelines.
