Education Scotland is the national improvement agency for Scottish education and an executive agency of the Scottish Government. Our role is to promote improvement through inspection and review, innovation and change, providing support and challenge to the education system. We are committed to embedding our values of excellence, creativity, integrity and respect in everything we do. Our programme of inspection reaches all sectors from early learning and childcare to adult learning and allows us to gather evidence of what is working well in our education system, areas which are showing improvement, and areas where further development is needed.
The Editor reports to the Head of Content. They are responsible for templating, formatting, editing and proofreading documents on time and to a high standard. They champion the house style, liaise with and advise authors, prepare final content and assist with the team’s general work and responsibilities.
