Job Description & Requirements

Directors are integral to the success of any film project. As a director you'll contribute to all the creative elements of a production and will be responsible for shaping them into a cohesive film.

In order to do this, you'll need a strong creative vision and the ability to communicate your ideas to a variety of people throughout the production process. This will include your production team, crew, actors and those responsible for financing the film.

Responsibilities

As a film director, you'll need to:

• read scripts
• work with writers and provide feedback on the further development of scripts
• select actors - sometimes working with casting directors and producers during this selection process
• monitor rehearsals
• direct actors during the filming
• select locations for filming
• hold meetings with key departments such as the camera, art and costume departments during the planning stages and throughout the filming
• agree the budget and schedule of the film with the producer
• be responsible for staying on budget and schedule
• supervise all creative aspects of the production
• work with the editor to present the final version of the film
• select music for the final film and/or work with a composer to decide on the musical score
• build and develop a network of contacts including writers, producers, film festivals and public funding bodies
• maintain contemporary technical skills
• have an awareness and knowledge of emerging industry trends.

As we continue to expand our market presence in Singapore and Hong Kong, we are seeking a dynamic Associate Account Director (Sales) to join our team and lead the charge in acquiring new corporate and conference clients. This role is perfect for someone passionate about event technology with a track record of sales success, particularly in the B2B sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• New Business Development: Identify and target potential corporate, institutes and conference clients in Singapore, APAC and the Middle East, focusing on hunting new opportunities and expanding our client base.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue goals, focusing on the corporate and conference markets.
• Client Acquisition: Establish relationships with key decision-makers, including event planners, marketing directors, and C-level executives, to drive engagement with EventNook’s solutions.
• Consultative Sales: Act as a trusted advisor by understanding clients' event needs and proposing tailored solutions to enhance their event management processes.
• Pipeline Management: Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects using CRM tools, ensuring consistent follow-up and tracking of all sales activities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and ensure seamless delivery of client expectations.
• Regional Focus: Take ownership of sales efforts in both Singapore and Hong Kong, with occasional travel for client meetings and events in Hong Kong.
• Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, providing feedback to enhance product features and sales tactics.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in B2B sales, with a strong preference for experience in event technology, SaaS, or related industries.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in hunting new business and meeting/exceeding sales targets, especially in corporate or conference sectors.
• Client Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level clients.
• Sales Strategy and Negotiation: Strong skills in developing sales strategies, closing deals, and negotiating contracts.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the events industry, particularly within the Singapore and Hong Kong markets, is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive and self-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of sales efforts.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to clients and stakeholders.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
