There is a vacancy for a committed and dynamic Teacher in Charge of Performing Arts and Media to be based across both sites of the Francis Barber PRU (Tooting & Wandsworth). You will be delivering the Performing Arts and Media teaching across both sites of the PRU to both KS3 and KS4 students (up to GCSE level). In addition, you will also hold the role of keyworker to a small group of students and will be responsible for monitoring their progress and well-being. The post holder will manage the provision of reprographics, all learning and display resources and publications, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and supporting the key messages and ethos of the school. S/He will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of the school’s MLE system and website, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements.

What skills and experience we're looking for

The post holder will manage the provision of reprographics, all learning and display resources and publications, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and supporting the key messages and ethos of the school. S/He will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of the school’s MLE system and website, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements.

The successful candidate for the post would ideally have:

• Relevant qualification to support the role – A levels or other role related Level 3 qualification is desirable
• Expert level IT and a/v skills including proficiency in a range of IT programmes and equipment use that are required for this role
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct others or respond appropriately to others even in pressurised situations
