Main duties include:

1) Tasks will include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.

2) Ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies.

Responsible for overseeing and managing the cleaning operations within one of the college sites, either Middleton or Rochdale. Your primary objective is to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently, according to established standards, and in a timely manner. You will supervise cleaning staff, coordinate schedules, rotas and maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance.
Inspect designated areas regularly to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained, addressing any deficiencies promptly.]
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all areas.
Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures related to cleaning operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle and resolve any issues or complaints related to cleaning services in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies and procedures, including attendance, punctuality, and behaviour standards.
Keep accurate records of cleaning activities, including schedules, inspections, and inventory levels.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new cleaning technologies to continually improve cleaning processes and efficiency.
Foster a positive and productive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among cleaning staff.

Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant involve:

• Reading, writing and SPAG support.
• Adjusting or breaking down activities to support participation and understanding. Develop a supportive relationship with the child that promotes self esteem and confidence.
• To develop knowledge and understanding of the specific academic, physical, emotional and behavioural needs of the child and respond to them effectively.
• To liaise with the Teacher and SENCO about the development and support needed at home and in school for the child.
• To provide the whole class, small groups and 1:1 support.
• Monitor and maintain records of the pupils progress.
