Housekeeper based at Lauriston, St Leonards-on-Sea

Available Hours:

Permanent - Full Time - 40 hours per week.

We are looking for a proactive and forward thinking individual who has a passion for quality housekeeping. As part of a committed team you will contribute to the support offered to MHA residents by maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our vibrant Care Home.

As Lauriston's Housekeeper you will be responsible for the stock control and delivery of cleaning materials and equipment.

As a successful candidate you will organise, supervise and manage our ancillary team to ensure all hygiene standards are met and therefore contributing to the welcoming and warm feel of this home.

Respect for older people alongside previous Housekeeping experience is essential for this role.

• Serves as DeCA consultant to interpret and supply advise on construction, maintenance or repair policies and regulations
• Provides technical expertise and consulting services to DeCA staff; commissary store managers and base/installation engineering personnel on all engineering matters related to the maintenance, repair and construction of commissary facilities
• Provides support to Agency planning, project programming, design and construction activities for DoD commissaries
• Prepares or monitors the preparation of draft and final, project scope, preliminary cost estimates, and statements of work for Maintenance Contracts
• Serves as Chief lnspector to monitor contractor performance on facility maintenance or repair contracts.

Hays are working with a client who is looking to bring in a welfare cleaner with an Enhanced DBS certificate, to work on their project based in New Malden.

Your new role
You will be required to have experience of welfare cleaning on a construction site, working the necessary hours needed to get the work done.You will be in charge of looking after and maintaining all the site facilities and office spaces.
You will be required to be committed to the job as the project is running for approximately 4 years.

What you'll need to succeed
You are required to have an up-to-date CSCS card.You will need to provide us with a CV/ references.
You will be required to have an Enhanced DBS certificate as it will be working within a school.

What you'll get in return
You will receive an hourly rate of £14.60 to £15 per hour (paid between 8 and 10 hours per day).You will receive weekly payments.You will receive the opportunity to work on a project for many years, with the client also willing to help and provide further training/ qualifications.

What will I be doing?
