Role: Professional Standards Pharmacist
Location: Leeds (LS14/LS15 and Bardon – LE67 (with hybrid working and some UK travel to London – UB6)
Salary: ÂŁ40k - ÂŁ60k DOE plus extensive benefits

Working hours: 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday between 0900 – 1800 – core hours are 1000 – 1730)

This role is within the Professional Standards Team, led by the Superintendent Pharmacist. We require a Professional Standards Pharmacist to support our Head of Quality and Compliance.

What you’ll be doing?
Support the Head of Quality and Compliance and the wider team with day-to-day activities
Ensure the business meets and ideally exceeds external requirements in terms of legal, ethical, professional, and clinical standards, and the same for our internal company policies and standards
Proactive in identifying areas in the business for improvement in relation to the above, and considering solutions
Taking ownership of patient and stakeholder concerns from start to finish
Develop an understanding of facility operations and work with facility teams to investigate and mitigate incidents
Understanding regulations regarding medicines advertising; reviewing marketing copy, emails, blog posts; writing new copy
Working within a dynamic and high-pressure environment
Meeting set targets for individuals and team to meet business targets
Working with key teams across the business
Representing the business in a professional manner in external forums where necessary
Ensuring that the workplace remains fun, relaxed, and friendly
Who are we looking for?
Pharmacist registered with the GPhC
Understanding of pharmacy law and ethics; professional standards; NHS contract, GPhC standards and guidance, regulatory inspection criteria
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Good problem-solving skills; creative
IT literate (used IT systems and is quick to learn) with the ability to use MS Office and Google/Google docs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at intermediate level
Understanding of pharmacy law and ethics; professional standards; NHS contract, GPhC standards and guidance, regulatory inspection criteria
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Good problem-solving skills; creative
IT literate (used IT systems and is quick to learn)
Ability to use MS Office and Google/Google docs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at intermediate level
Demonstrates a patient first approach at all times and strives to exceed patient expectations
