• Advises Servicemembers responding to military administrative actions including line of duty investigations, financial liability investigations, memorandums of reprimand.
• Prepares preventative law articles for distribution on the installation and through digital mediums.
• Establishes and maintains liaison with national, state, and local bar organizations, focusing on those that provide legal services to the military community.
• Prepares reports and briefs the Staff Judge Advocate and other leadership on Division activities, case and claim status, and other matters as required.
• Initiates, investigates, and processes administrative tort claims and property affirmative claims filed under the Federal Tort Claims Act, Military Claims Act, and other relevant laws and regulations that occur in the assigned area.
• Conducts legal research and analysis, drafts legal documents and correspondence, and develops conclusions and recommendations on all covered legal duties.

• Provide direct assistance to Soldiers, civilians, and family members, handling a range of concerns with sensitivity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Apply the Inspector General Action Process (IGAP) to analyze complaints, requests for assistance, and requests for information.
• Develop, plan, and execute inspections aligned with the Organizational Inspection Program to assess compliance, identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
• Write detailed inspection reports with actionable recommendations for commanders, highlighting strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvements.
• Conduct impartial, thorough investigations into alleged violations of law or policy, adhering to IG investigative principles.
• Prepare well-organized, clear, and evidence-based investigation reports that effectively communicate findings.

With previous supervisory experience and previous experience in commercial cleaning, you will have used a variety of cleaning equipment and products and understand the health and safety issues associated with their use.

Aberdeen City Council is currently in discussions with Trade Unions regarding a proposal to move from a standard 37-hour full-time working week to a standard 35-hour full-time working week.
