- Assigns responsibilities, delegates authority, determines operating policies, provides direction on work products, and reviews program operations to assure the attainment of program objectives.
- Develops subordinate supervisor’s performance standards; and makes a formal and informal appraisal of work, giving advice, counsel, and instructions to employees, as required.
- The incumbent acts for the AAMD Division Director when the Division Director is away from the office on official travel or leave.
- Develops mission-critical goals and objectives for AAMD by providing leadership and direction.
- Advises on the resolution of critical or unusual problems for a broad range of complex, frequently long-term, realty projects in situations affecting agency-wide operations.
