Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Expatriate Management

• Liaise with vendors for temporary car rentals and accommodation for expatriates.
• Coordinate with housing agents and car dealers for permanent housing and vehicle purchases upon approval.
• Review tenancy agreements and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Work with the internal legal department to secure approvals and process necessary costs related to expatriate arrangements.

Travel Management

• Oversee travel arrangements and validate the accuracy of travel management reports.
• Ensure travel processes comply with company policies and relevant local regulations.
• Maintaining company travel policy.

Budget and Invoice Management

• Manage department budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
• Process invoices and ensure adherence to internal financial processes.
• Tracking office expenditure.

Office Operations

• Supervise daily operations, including office maintenance, reception services, and vendor coordination.
• Oversee servicing and maintenance of office equipment, including security systems.

Fixed Assets Management

Requirements

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and operational functions, particularly in expatriate management, travel management, office operations, and vendor relationships. Previous experience in Asian MNC environment is highly desired.
• Strong familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements related to tenancy, travel, office operations, and asset management.

The Public Health Operational Policy Division (PHOPD) works to strengthen policies, processes and operational capabilities in the areas of vector control and sanitation to meet current and future challenges. This includes developing solutions for current challenges, exploring and leveraging new operational technologies, and developing strategic programmes and engaging relevant industries and stakeholders. PHOPD also ensures compliance with the cleaning industry licensing regime through audits, investigations, and enforcement.

In the Sanitation and Industry Policy Department, you will be part of the team that regulates our cleaning industry to ensure the industry delivers quality services and contributes to a clean and liveable environment. You will be responsible for the following:

• Plan and conduct compliance audits on licensed cleaning businesses
• Carry out investigations on unlicensed cleaning businesses and their service buyers
• Impose enforcement action on offenders in line with established enforcement framework
• Consolidate and analyse compliance statistics and trends
• Attend to feedback from cleaning businesses, service buyers, and other stakeholders
• Partner licensing and policy teams in reviews and rollout of new or amended policies
• Any other tasks assigned

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

Reporting to the Executive Assistant Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to:
