Cleaner – Grade 1 SCP 2 (£23,656 pro rata, £12,787 actual salary)

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our premise team as a cleaner. You will work as part of a hard-working team, under the direction of the premise manager, to ensure the upkeep of our school buildings.
Your daily duties will include cleaning classrooms, corridors and toilet areas of the school, as well as the general upkeep of other identified areas of the school building.
Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable, as is some knowledge of cleaning materials.
The successful candidates will:

CLEANING SUPERVISOR
Grade 2 (Point 3) - £22,737 fte - Actual salary £15,36225 hours a week

We are seeking to appoint a confident, capable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to line manager a team of SM6 cleaning assistants and ensure that the school cleaning procedures are carried out effectively and efficiently.
You will be an organised and hardworking person who can be flexible and adaptable to changing situations and work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Under the direction of the Trust Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of cleaning services in accordance with the cleaning specification, ensuring that the school is cleaned to a high standard. You will also be responsible for assessing and monitoring the cleaning standards within the designated areas and provide training to cleaning staff as required.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team of staff who are committed to providing the best possible service for our students and staff.

Francis Askew Primary School are looking to appoint two Cleaners to start September 2023, working alongside a supportive and friendly team. The main purpose of the role is to provide and maintain an effective and efficient cleaning service in all areas of the school.
Salary: Grade 1, Point 2, £11.59 per hour, for 10 hours per week, Monday - Friday 3.30pm - 5.30pm. Annual leave minimum 23 days, plus bank holidays. to start as soon as possible.
