Such assignments may include but not limited to:

• Assists maintenance workers in performing general maintenance, repair and/or alterations to such items as: doors, floors, floor covering, walls, ceiling, windows, electrical switches, receptacles and light fixtures, commodes, wash basins and showers.
• Assists in performing repair of recreation/mess equipment and appliances and other related maintenance and/or custodial duties.
• Assists in the performance of simple plumbing repairs, replacing faucets or washers; repairing toilet flushing devices; clearing clogged drains, and tightening leaking pipe joints.
• Assists in the performance of light maintenance on air conditioning units and intermediate maintenance on equipment in the facility.
• May assist in the performance of minor electrical repairs to switches and boxes, and replace electric lights, fuses and fixtures.
• Drives motor vehicles to and from work sites, warehouses, and dumps.
• Maintains maintenance shop in a safe and clean condition.
• Observes environmental, safety, security and housekeeping rules and regulations.
• Performs a varied of recurring duties to maintain and ensure upkeep of all MWR department ball fields,parks/picnic areas and outdoor recreational areas throughout a multitude of MWR programs CAT A,B, and C.
• Dragging, raking, installing bases, home plates and pitching rubbers, laying out foul lines and playing field boundaries, repairing backstops, and mowing grass on near all MWR recreational facilities.
• Trims, edges, rakes and mows grass at all assigned MWR recreational areas and playing fields.
• Polices all MWR assigned areas, collects and disposes of trash and garbage, usually using a pickup truck or light duty vehicle to transport to disposal area.
• Operates a light duty vehicle, grounds maintenance equipment, which includes weed eater, trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, push and riding mowers.
• Assist in the preparation of activities, indoor and outdoor, for special events and program support.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Monitors and tracks obligations and expenditures for the assigned area of responsibility throughout the execution phase of the annual operating budget.
• Serves as fund control officer for assigned area of responsibility, providing action personnel with explanations and guidance on procedures for preparation of documents, supply requisitions and travel requests.
• Responsible for coordinating appropriate paperwork required to properly account for reimbursable funds.
• Will assist Supervisory Budget Officer in preparing detailed Budget Estimates for all DPW, NON DPW Programs.
• Send requests for customers funding that reference Internal Job Orders (IJO’s).

• Performs utility contract management and coordination with metering and utility budget development.
• Supports the Energy Management Program on the facility as it relates to existing facilities and systems, as well as planned improvements to reduce overall demand and increase efficiency of base operations by utilizing a professional knowledge of electrical/mechanical/civil engineering.
• Coordinates with Operations and Programs Flight on energy-related operations and maintenance activities.
• Plans and executes energy-related facility projects. Prepares statements of work (SOW) for energy-related projects. Provides technical review of design calculations, cost estimates, analysis, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and to ensure technical aspects meet and maintain acceptability and reliability.
