Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship - Preston
• Achieve the best possible outcome through a person’s medicines by managing, ordering, receiving, maintaining and supplying medicines and other pharmaceutical products safely, legally and effectively, whilst meeting the regulatory standards.
• Provide person-centred health advice to all patients, whether on prescription or over the counter, and refer them to other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
• Support the management of the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy, such as clinical governance, business operation and processes, and supervise other pharmacy staff.
• Provide training to pharmacy and the wider healthcare teams, such as for new members of staff.
• Maintain a quality service through auditing and evaluating the service and processes, and respond to feedback.
• You will also gain a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3, equivalent to A level, which will enable you to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Your role will include but is not limited to: Performing drug history and completing medicines reconciliation. Assessment of patients own medicines. Utilising Our award winning Pharmacy Whiteboard for daily prioritisation. Involvement in continuous improvement projects. Effective and timely ordering of patients medications. Patient counselling Providing essential, accurate discharge information to support the electronic discharge process at ward level Carry out final accuracy checking of prescriptions in the dispensary, on the ward and in our satellite pharmacies. Providing line management and leadership to Medicine Management Assistants. Providing training and mentorship to pharmacy trainees Management of chemotherapy planning, accuracy checking and dispatching of medication.

Depot Location: Preston

Working Hours: Wednesday to Saturday
Wednesday = 1pm to 7pm
Thursday, Friday, Saturday = 7am to 7pm

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter on a straight day shift.

Working in an established team of HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter, you will be required to undertake the following;

·Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
·Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
·General Servicing and MOT preparation
·Fault finding & diagnostics
·Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter will have the following attributes;

·hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
·Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
·A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
·Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair

We’re recruiting an IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic at Preston Workshop on a Permanent contract, with the potential to earn over £70,000 per annum including overtime (shift depending).

Working Hours: Full time
- 39.5 hours per week (rotating shift pattern; week 1: 06:00
- 14:30 Mon -Frid, week 2: 6:00
- 14:30 Tues
- Sat and week 3: 13:00
- 21:30 Mon
- Frid). You will be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (with a weekday day off).
We also have a permanent Night Shift Available.

Follow routine maintenance schedules and procedures for the grounds and gardens, vehicles and equipment across all the Hospital sites. Carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and schedules. Assist and support the Lead Grounds Maintenance Operative /Building Manager in undertaking day-to-day maintenance of the Hospital grounds, in a way which minimises risk to self, others and complies with relevant legislation, policies, procedures. Be competent in the use of all relevant tools and equipment and work within safety guidelines current legislation and manufacturers recommendations as necessary for the completion of reactive and planned works. Identify and prioritise own workload and actively complete all documentation in a timely manner. Assist with operational tasks within the waste recycling complex as and when required. On an ad-hoc basis undertake site cleanliness and litter picking duties across all sites. Safely and correctly prepare, clean, use and store securely equipment, tools, materials and work areas leaving them in a suitable condition for future use. Hold a valid current driving licence and safely and legally drives the Trusts vehicle fleet (Including the towing of trailers) as and when required. Actively take part in the on-call rota and attends site at short notice for snow/frost clearance during the months when inclement weather may prevail. Keep the sites tidy and generally free from the accumulation of litter, leaves and debris. Inspect landscaping, footpaths and trees on a weekly basis to identify defective or dangerous areas and rectify any faults or advise Lead Grounds Maintenance Operative. Undertake pesticide spraying in accordance with statutory guidance and regulations. Assist and support the Lead Grounds Maintenance Operative/ Building Manager in project work, surveys, and other similar duties.
