What you'll be doing;

• Schedule the maintenance aspects of the plant, by reducing disruption to operations and maximising uptime and availability.
  
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance work in a heavy industrial environment.
  
• Prevent plant breakdowns by ensuring the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is carried out and is optimal.
  
• Manage inventory and spare parts in line with approved systems.
  
• Analyse causes of unscheduled downtime and drive continuous improvement projects.
  
• Liaise with contractors and third parties to organise specialist maintenance works.
  
• Implement risk assessments for maintenance activities.

What we're looking for;

• Level 3 NVQ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Applicants with Level 2 NVQ Mechanical Engineering and relevant work experience will also be considered.
  
• Trade qualified in MIG and arc welding techniques.
  
• Experience working with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and material handling equipment.
  
• Maintenance experience in a fast-paced production process environment.
  
• Experience working with material handling equipment in fast-paced production lines - conveyors, baling equipment, low voltage equipment, motors, material handling equipment, plant auxiliaries, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and optical separation, magnetic and Eddy current separation technology.
  
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

General day to day upkeep and maintenance

• Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained, with respect to all three properties;
• Ensure that Embassy physical security arrangements are functioning and well maintained, in line with the Embassy Security Plan;
• Responsibility for in-house event spaces and facilities set-up and de-rig for busy schedule of official events (currently over 100 per annum) carried out in accordance with Embassy specifications, which often involve atypical hours;

We are looking for a hardworking, organised Apprentice to join our pharmacy aseptic team. The post will be based at either Hammersmith or the Charing Cross site and will require studying online on a weekly basis and in addition to independent learning. You will participate in the preparation of chemotherapy, clinical trials and parenteral nutrition, for both adults and neonates. The post holder will also play an active role in the day to day running of the aseptic unit.

• To participate in the compounding of aseptically prepared products mainly cytotoxics and clinical trials.
• To assist in the maintenance of adequate stock levels of raw materials and sundries required for compounding
• To input prescription information using the Pharmacy Computer system
• To assist in the use of computerised stock control system and maintain accurate stock levels
• To assist in maintaining the integrity of the production environment, in compliance with standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice
• To participate in the distribution of pharmaceuticals to the end users
• To help maintain all necessary logs, files and records

Taking responsibility for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities and the management of the maintenance team, the Maintenance Manager is there to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently to ensure that the guest expectations are met during their stay.

You will be required to allocate responsibilities to the team, complete the daily jobs list and preventative maintenance schedules with an eye for detail and a passion for fixing things!

You must meet time deadlines, liaise with contractors and take responsibility for health and safety on property. You must be organised, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on manager who has excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required and knowledge of electrics and health and safety are beneficial. Computer literacy is also key for the compliance and audit part of this role.
