The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hotel Maintenance Team Member to join our team. As a member of the hotel maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and repair work to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out regular maintenance and repair work on the hotel's equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Responding promptly to any maintenance requests or emergencies, and addressing them in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conducting regular inspections of the hotel's facilities and equipment to identify any maintenance issues and ensure that they are addressed promptly.
• Keeping accurate records of all maintenance work, including expenses, work completed, and parts used.
• Assisting with the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to ensure that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
• Assisting with the management of external contractors and suppliers, including ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines and ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out safely.
• Assisting with other tasks and projects as required by the Maintenance Manager or senior management.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working in a maintenance role in a hotel or similar environment.
• Strong technical skills and a good understanding of building and facility systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Your new role

Working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your main duties will include:

• Monthly/Weekly pre-planned maintenance.
• Reactive duties across the building
• Managing Sub contractors who attend the building.
• Part take in a call-out rota which currently is 1/3.
• Happy to be flexible and pick up general maintenance where needed.

• Experience in a similar type of Electrical/Building Maintenance position.
• Level 3 Electrical Installation/or equivalent
• 17th edition or above.

This role is Band 5 plus RRP, Overtime & On-call allowance available. 37.5 hours per week.

The primary purpose of this role is to professionally support and undertake Electrical trades operations and maintenance work across the Trust’s sites as directed by line management. This includes activities that may be demanding and/or non-routine, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards, policies and procedures. • Work in accordance with the requirements of HTM’s, HBN’s, British Standards, Model Specifications and all Statutory Regulations, Codes of Practice and Trust Policies and Procedures, identifying and proposing changes for own work area to the Mechanical Team Leader
• Prioritise work requirements on essential facilities which could have a direct detrimental impact on the patient experience e.g. nurse call handsets, patient toilets/wash facilities and patient beds. The role involves prioritising and being able to react to changing workloads

A unique opportunity has arisen in the Cancer Pharmacy Team for the right candidate to take on a new role as an advanced cancer pharmacy technician specialising in haematology.

Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust (OUHFT) Cancer Pharmacy Team were the first in the country to develop these exciting pharmacy technician roles. We are now looking to expand the team further.

You will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated and proactive pharmacy technician, with excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills. You will be supported with the objective of making this role your own, developing and expanding new services, while progressing your own professional career. The Oxford Cancer & Haematology Centre, based across the Churchill and Horton sites, provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients within Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. We provide a comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and day case services.We provide local, regional and national cancer & haematology services including chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) and bone marrow transplant (BMT) therapies, with other novel advanced therapeutic medicinal products (ATMPs) on the horizon.The centre is also a Cancer Research UK Clinical research unit, an Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) and a Biomedical Research Centre (BMRC)

Key roles include:
• To provide leadership to cancer pharmacy technicians and assistants working at the OUHFT Cancer & Haematology Centre, including supporting with recruitment and induction & contribute to overall cancer pharmacy team development and strategy.
• To liaise with key stakeholders toensure strategic, collaborative and innovative development of Clinical Cancer Pharmacy Technician services and ensure that overall cancer pharmacy technician clinical services are consistent, integrated and co-ordinated.
• To provide clinical pharmacy services to Oncology & Haematology Directorate. This may include working on the clinical areas and within a specified clinic to review stable patients on oral SACT in line with a red flag check list and ensure the appropriate and timely screening, supply and clinic review to improve the oral SACT efficiency pathway.

• Assist with the set up and Implementation/management of the Estates safe systems of work (e.g. Permit to Work, isolation procedures) under the guidance of AP’s to ensure that all safe systems of work are carried out correctly

A very established company in Oxford are looking for a Building Facilities & Procurement Manager to oversee the running of the Head Office Building from a facilities and procurement perspective, looking after a small team of staff and working closely with the Group Health and Safety Manager and Directors.
