Roles & Responsibilities
· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment while adhering to relevant codes and regulations.
· Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to pinpoint electrical issues and apply suitable remedies.
· Inspect electrical components like transformers and circuit breakers to verify functionality and safety.
· Reading and interpreting electrical circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
· Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
· Test electrical systems and circuits for continuity using specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
· Collaborate with peers to identify enhancements in electrical systems and processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and accurate record-keeping.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Good communication skills.
· Work independently without any supervision.
· Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
Requirements:
· Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
· Entry levels are welcomed as training will be provided.
· Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design
