• Transcribe specialized medical dictation for the Laboratory covering a wide range of medical specialties to complete accurate and medically acceptable physician reports, laboratory reports and patient records.
• Analyze dictation for accuracy and meaning, and edits medical/other inconsistencies in dictation to ensure that information and terminology is transcribed accurately.
• Prepare medical documents for validation by the professional staff.
• Assist with accessioning and shipping specimens.
• Prepare, assemble, distribute and/or file correspondence, statistical documents, letters of inquiry, policy letters, one time and/or recurring reports (Requests for Consultation, etc.) and obtains required signatures, as necessary.
• Use varied and advanced functions of word processing software to create, format, modify, edit, and print a variety of letters, reports, memos, and other textual documents.

• Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains policies and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects.
• Job may require work in various facilities depending on requirements as determined by customer demand or programmed activities. Opens and/or closes facilities by locking/unlocking doors and windows and assuring security system is operable.
• Issues/receives equipment/tools to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits.
• Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers, explains use, and monitors proper usage. Conducts surveillance of total facility and reports any unusual findings to supervisor.
• Prepares requirement lists for appropriated and nonappropriated supplies and equipment due to demand or need for replacement items. Monitors inventories and number and condition of items on hand.

• Provide instruction to patients, family members and/or other health workers to perform selected treatment procedures and functional training activities.
• Assist in maintenance of supply levels and determination of supply needs.
• Participate in instructional programs, as directed by the PT, to include teaching other personnel in sound, proper methods of physical therapy treatment.
• Provide updated status in patient progress reports, as well as other administrative reports.

• You will perform a variety of support duties, pertaining to the protection of the environment, designed to relieve the supervisor and/or others of many routine, miscellaneous matters.
• You will assist, gather, organize and evaluate environmental information (such as hazardous waste, water, air, natural and cultural resources, pollution prevention or other data) to support DoD and Navy specific guidelines.
• You will assist with routine tasks, such as inspecting storage areas to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Navy Requirements.

• Conducts intake procedures; obtains general medical information, including allergies and drug sensitivities; and takes and records vital signs (TPR-temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, height, weight).
• Assess/Triage patients as prescribed by hospital or clinic policy (i.e,. Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA). Performs a full range of activities pertinent to the containment and prevention of hospital acquired infections.
• Ensures medical records are prepared and available. Ensures proper computer entry of patient data and equipment settings.
• Assess age-specific screening protocols (i.e. Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), indicators; medication review; pain assessment; growth/development, Body Mass Index (BMI), physical activity, nutritional status; BP control, glycemic control, etc.); monitors patient health and general well-being.
• Performs less complex dressing and treatments without assistance. Assist with cleaning, irrigating, and dressing complex wounds; documents and informs RN of non-healing wounds. Performs skin care measures.
• Current and active Certified Medical Assistant certification (CMA) through successfully passing certification exams from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant certification (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), or National Certified Medical Assistant certification (NCMA) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) preferred.

• Perform a variety of receptionist, clerical, and record keeping duties related to the treatment of patients in a dental clinic.
• Receive phone call to provide clinic general information to patients and family members.
• Maintain and monitor patient appointment schedules and cancel appointment.
• Assist patients in relaying messages to the providers.
• Utilize automated appointment system in order to prepare master schedule that meets patient, and clinic needs.
• Retrieve data in order to prepare monthly, weekly, and quarterly reports used by the supervisor or management.

• Perform medical records, administrative and clerical duties in support of the medical facility.
• Receive and direct telephone calls, messages, and patients/visitors.
• Arrange and schedule medical appointments and determines patient eligibility for services.
• Use multiple office automation software with varied functions to produce a wide range of documents, formats, etc.

Our Senior Maintenance Technicians are critical members of our Property Management Teams who work to ensure the upkeep of our properties and ensuring our customers’ happiness and comfort.

Our Senior Maintenance Technicians take pride in and oversee the overall appearance and maintenance of our residential communities. They work closely with the on-site Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to ensure ongoing curb appeal, cleanliness, and function of the individual units and surrounding grounds.

This is a busy, exciting role for someone already skilled at apartment maintenance and who is ready to move to the next step in their career as Senior Maintenance Technician. We are seeking someone committed to the preservation and beautification of real estate who is passionate about staying with the company for a long and rewarding career in residential property management.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO IN THIS ROLE:

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

• Perform maintenance repairs throughout the property including the common area amenities, occupied units and vacant units.

• Coordinate all move-ins and move-outs with the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.

• Maintain a schedule for timely completion of apartment make-readies, ensuring that all apartments scheduled for move-ins are completely ready for the new resident prior to move-in.

• Diagnose problems and repairs in the areas related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural and appliances.

OPERATIONS

• Use Yardi (or similar) property management software to manage open service repair requests

• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of service items.

• Ensure that policies and procedures as well as safety and compliance expectations are met.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & COMMUNICATION

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all residents.

• Communicate and effectively work together with your fellow team members. 

COMPLIANCE & SAFETY

• Assist with a monthly safety meeting, assign duties as needed.

• Supervise all work by outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Ensure that policies and procedures as well as safety and compliance expectations are met.

• Strictly adhere to ethical standards including, but not limited to, the ability to maintain confidentiality and maintain fiduciary responsibility.

 WHAT YOU’LL NEED ON DAY ONE:

• Minimum two years of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade is required.

• HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification is required.

• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred.  Associates hired without a CPO certification will be required to obtain within 90 days of hire.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. 

• Technical knowledge in the following areas: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pool, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural, and appliance repair is required.

• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

• Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software preferred.

• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.

• General computer skills including operating a mobile device.

• Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations. 

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to maintain a flexible, available schedule to respond promptly and resolve after-hours and weekend emergency maintenance.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays. 

*The First-Year Bonus, less usual deductions, will be divided into two equal payments: the first payment following the completion of 90 days of employment, and the second payment following the completion of 1 year of employment.
