This post is to assist with the provision of high-quality cleaning within council buildings for the Facilities Management Team. We clean a variety of building across North Ayrshire estate which include, Schools, Nurseries, Day Centres, Offices, Libraries, Residential Homes, Depots and Sheltered Housing Units. This post is term time and is based within Corsehill Primary School. The working hours are 15:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior EBME Biomedical Engineering Technician to join our EBME Department at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust

You will play a key supporting role in the care and maintenance of a broad range of medical equipment throughout Bedford Hospital including across the community sites and sometimes Luton Hospital.

We are a busy department that provides a comprehensive service, carrying out the routine calibration, maintenance, repair and management of the Trust's medical equipment. The successful candidate will be required to work on various medical devices ranging from flow meters, suction units, weighing scales to Infusion pumps, Cardiac Monitors etc.

This is a full time position, working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm).

You will be educated to ONC level in Medical Electronics/Engineering with knowledge and UK experience of working on medical equipment in an acute hospital. We will consider individuals who can demonstrate they have transferable skills and experience in general electrical/electronic engineering. The work requires being able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
