Major duties include but not limited to:
The incumbent performs a full range of duties and is responsible for day-to-day operation of telehealth services at the assigned location and between the assigned location and remote sites of care.

• Preparing the clinical environment, which may include preparing medical and telecommunications equipment to be used for clinical examination and treatment.
• Taking measures to ensure patient care is delivered safely by following appropriate procedures for the cleaning of clinical equipment.
• Ensuring that patient privacy is protected by complying with all information security and patient privacy regulations.
• Receiving and scheduling requests for simple and complex intra-facility, and interfacility telehealth appointments using an electronic resource-based scheduling system.
• Communicating effectively with clinical and administrative staff at the assigned local site and those located at remote sites of care.
• Arranging and completing test video calls with Veterans to prepare the Veterans for clinical encounters using telehealth technologies.
• Ensuring assigned telehealth technologies are secured, ready for use, and accounted for by preparing and tracking maintenance work orders, information systems, inventory records, and communicating with National Telehealth Technology Help Desk to facilitate troubleshooting, repair, and coordination of replacement equipment as necessary.
• Completing other duties as assigned.

About the RoleWorking in a team on a rota basis (06:30-15:00 and 14:30-22:30 rotating weekly), our Facilities Officers open and close the college buildings, assist with managing student behaviour, supervise and delegate cleaning duties to a team of cleaning staff, assist with any caretaker/porter services and any minor maintenance related issues and ensure the college is a safe and secure environment for learners, staff and other users.
Facilities Officers are trained to become part of the College’s First Aid rota when on duty, for which there is an additional payment of £500 per annum (paid monthly) once training is completed.
Facilities Officers are also required to be on the On-Call escalation rota for the buildings on a rotational basis (currently 1 week in 6) and work a Saturday shift with paid breaks (currently 1 week in 6).
About the PersonWe require a flexible person who can work independently, and as part of a team, to provide and maintain the security, cleanliness, and efficient running of the college buildings. Previous experience in a similar role is not required, however, the successful candidate will need to be hardworking and dedicated to learning from on-the-job-training. Full training will be supplied, where required/needed.

You will provide technical support for the Superconductivity and Magnetism group, helping to maintain and repair apparatus in the sample preparation and characterisation laboratories of the group. Complete the various maintenance, fire and health and safety checks as advised by the Home Manager.
Ensure that any vehicle used to transport residents is in a safe condition and conform to legal requirements.
Participate in the cleaning of the home by ‘being in control’ of the shampooing by using the shampooing machine on a weekly basis and or, as required to do so.
Report daily to the Person in Charge or the maintenance book to see if any jobs need doing before commencing work.
Carry out light plumbing, electrical and carpentry work, in line with skill levels and qualifications, as well as decorating.

The Facilities Designer for Structural Engineering will join the Architecture and Civil Engineering Section, which includes a team of architects, civil engineers, structural engineers, the Roof Program Manager, the Building Code Program Manager, and the Quality Assurance Program Manager. The Facilities Designer will work as a team member with Architecture and Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Environmental and Energy Engineering to deliver effective and efficient full-range professional engineering services in support of university-wide construction and renovation projects. The Facilities Designer will perform designs with general direction from the Design Lead or assist engineers with larger design projects. This position will provide design support and serve as technical resource for a range of civil and structural systems, including building structures, site utilities/infrastructure, bridges, parking structures, and system assessments. The Facilities Designer will prepare CAD/BIM Drawings in coordination with other disciplines according to CAD/BIM standards and assists with composing studies and reports.  

The Facilities Designer may assist with preparation of the Opinion of Probable Costs and technical specifications, as well as fee estimates for design proposals. The Facilities Designer will organize their own design and drafting efforts to deliver work product within project budgets and schedules and supports design managers during construction. The position requires construction site visits where odors, dust, noise, and/or physical hazards may be present. Other requirements may include climbing ladders, riding in aerial work platforms, working in confined space, and utilizing safety harnesses and other PPE as applicable per OSHA and university requirements.

Cornell Laboratory for Accelerator-based ScienceS and Education (CLASSE) is a world-class facility studying beam and accelerators, photon science, particle physics and the early universe, serving students, the public and scientists from Cornell and around the world.

The Equipment Technician V serves the scientific mission by providing technical support to Research support specialists in beamline distribution, equipment controls, safety systems, and personal protective equipment.  At times the equipment tech V will also directly support academic research personnel (students and scientists) in experimental builds, providing insight and best practice recommendations.  Examples of such instruments include 150-MeV linear accelerators, closed-loop liquid-helium refrigeration units, synchronous particle injection systems, high-heat-load x-ray beamlines, and high-speed, large-area x-ray detectors. 

Primary responsibilities of this position are to provide comprehensive technical support of research and experimental electrical components. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Fabricate, install, maintain, test, calibrate, and commission instrumentation involving complex electrical distribution systems (high voltage, current, and frequency) in support of operations of the LINAC, Synchrotron, Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR), Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source (CHESS), Cornell Brookhaven E (ERL-Energy Recovery Linac) Test Accelerator (CBETA), and Center for Bright Beams (CBB).

The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Technician III to join the Microbiology and Immunology department. The Technician III will report to Dr. Gary Whittaker. They will perform organizational tasks for the lab as well as performing experiments in association with other lab members. These include managing and processing clinical samples from cats, including from animal shelters, hospitals, and veterinary clinics. Experimental duties may include tissue and cell culture, RNA and DNA isolation, and serological assays. Additional duties may also include PCR and viral genomic sequencing; training can be provided in this case, as needed. Clinically based animal handling experience is a plus.

Duties may also include analysis of other virus infections, and to assist other members of the lab when needed. They must be reliable, punctual, organized, detail oriented, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in biological sciences, or a closely related field, and two years of relevant laboratory experience, equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with handling clinical samples and performing “wet-lab” experiments in the areas outlined above
