- You will conduct shipboard system/equipment operational and maintenance assessments and continuous operational maintenance data assessments for submarine Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) and Submarine Local Area Networks.
- You will design, implement, perform, and evaluate local test plans/procedures to determine material readiness; identifying and resolving discrepancies, and providing over the shoulder maintenance training to ships force and shop personnel.
- You will provide engineering, technical, logistics oversight, guidance, and support to shipyard personnel during repair, replacement, overhaul, and testing.
- You will identify and resolve logistics and configuration management problems to improve material condition readiness.
- You will perform upgrades by providing alteration installation team support including modernization/installation testing, and shipboard technical and logistics support during system/equipment modernization installations.
- You will create and develop plans and procedures for isolation and resolution of difficult and complex shipboard system problems.
- You will coordinate, direct, and review subsystem testing, devise new tests, and modify existing tests to support new equipment configurations or conditions.
