We are supporting a local school in the recruitment of a Maintenance Technician who will join a team with the responsibility for preventative and reactive maintenance for the school. Reporting to the Plant Lead Technician, you will support in the inspection and repairs for equipment and machinery across the three sites together with weekly and monthly compliance checks.
You will have good experience of working in a maintenance role, holding a qualification, or be willing to be trained in one, or a multiple of, the following skills:
Electrical installation/maintenance (to Edition 18), Plumbing and/or other recognisable Trades.
Experience of working with, or willing to be trained on the Facilities Management Software, Computer skills essential.
Team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, motivated to achieve high standards, demonstrating honesty and integrity at all times.
Full UK Driving Licence (Essential) and own transport (Essential)
Starting immediately as a temp and working weekly until you transfer to a permanent contract, hours will cover 37/week with flexibility to cover those hours between 06.00 and 22.00 although rarely starting and finishing at these times.
The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks - it'll be great if you're on the update service.
