Your new role
Your new role working as a Senior Binder Technician means you will be providing guidance and support to teams in relation to Delegated authority business and assisting in the management of all Internal and Third-Party binding authorities including the monitoring of declarations and bordereaux.
Duties will include preparing new and renewal contracts for all delegated authority business, preparing renewal presentations and statistics for all binding authorities and/or line slips, and provide reporting, addressing DA performance, and ensuring binding authority limits and guidelines are adhered to. Other duties will also include the management of Lloyd's DCOM, DDM and Atlas systems, producing and monitoring quarterly premiums for Third Party binding authorities, issuing triangle statistics and managing and assisting new Coverholders applications. Also, deal with Profit Commission calculations and collections on binders, providing statistics on contracts, territories and lineslips as well as provide management information on agents on a quarterly basis.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Senior Binder Technician or Binder Manager handling International Binders will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have knowledge of general insurance business and be confident in FCA and Lloyd's Market requirements. You will need market, industry and product knowledge and be proactive in keeping knowledge up to date. You will have numeracy and literacy skills as well as communication, organisational and data analysis skills. You will act with integrity, due skills, care and diligence. You will need experience in systems such as Atlas, DCOM, DDM, Lloyd's Crystal, Aims (Lloyd's Audit), PPL, Whitespace and Microsoft Office Suite.

The role will inched the analysis of data under existing Binding Authority Agreements. Dealing with Market statistics (PI / Earned to Incurred etc). Preparation of MRC slips and endorsements, as well as updating and maintaining monthly Earned to Incurred statistics. Compiling and maintaining risk level data for Binding Authority Agreements. A large part of your role will be centred on the processing and reporting of managed accounts, handling North American Open market and Binder claims from cradle to grave, processing the monthly bordereaux, and compiling loss runs on request from internal stakeholders of the business.

Due to expansion within their NA Team, there is an opportunity for an Account Handler /Technician to handle NA Open market Property risks. This is a home-based role with occasional working in the City 1 day per week

Your new role
Working as an Account Handler( Technician)
you will be responsible for producing documentation including Open market MRC slips and endorsements as well as some BAA slips + Endorsements. You will be responsible for preparing and typing of letters / emails and other correspondence, maintaining online filing and archiving systems, Entering Data onto the Global system as well as obtaining Bureau Signings and arranging extension to terms of trade. Other duties will include dealing with queries from Brokers and clients as well as calculating Profit Commissions & E2I's. You will be encouraged to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, supporting them with all technical issues and queries.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician/ Broker Support Technician handling NA or International Non Marine or Property
business who has experience in the production of MRC slips will contribute to your success. You will be technically astute, highly literate with excellent planning, time management and organisation skills alongside your drive and motivation will allow you to adapt well into a diverse and growing team

A permanent position for a Broker support Technician has arisen within an established North American and International Property and Casualty team.
Dealing with both a mix of Binders and open market Property and related risks

Your new role

Your new job working as a Senior Broker Support Technician will be responsible for providing a quality technical service to Brokers covering all aspects of their insurance.
You will be responsible for the production of MRC slips and endorsements. You will also be responsible for working closely with Placing Brokers, Producing Brokers, colleagues and clients. The role will inched the analysis of data under existing Binding Authority Agreements. Dealing with Market statistics (PI / Earned to Incurred etc). Preparation of MRC slips and endorsements, as well as updating and maintaining monthly Earned to Incurred statistics. Compiling and maintaining risk level data for Binding Authority Agreements. Knowledge and use of Lloyd's systems eg DComm/Lineage (would be advantageous). You will also produce open market MRC Slips and Endorsements on occasions.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician dealing with Non Marine or Property risks emanating ideally from North America will contribute to your success in securing this role. Experience of Binding Authorities as well as DComm/Lineage would be advantageous. You will be technically astute and ideally, you will have an experience in MRC slip production and endorsements. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbally. Cross training to NA Property and Transportation will be offered

Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Operations Technician within the Marine Operations team, means you will have an excellent level of Technical Insurance knowledge to both process and support managers and team members in a technical capacity and provide support and assistance to the team in India. Duties will also include end to end premium processing, creating timely and accurate accounting transactions using Global XB. You will have a strong understanding and experience working with the Bureau in the workings of accounting and settlement protocols, extensive understanding of MRCs, working knowledge of Lineslips and Binding Authorities. Further duties include attending business unit, client, underwriter or marker meetings, providing technical input where required, understanding of resources available in relation to current Tax and VAT requirements, coordinating and reporting on revenue at business unit level. The role includes working within the Accounting and Credit Control Team, with accountability to support to clear all Financial Disciplines (bad debt, unallocated cash, uncollected brokerage, held funds, funding and signings) assigned to them in accordance with internal SLA's or escalated accordingly.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician (Back end premium processing) within a Lloyd's Insurance Broker with experience in dealing with the Bureaux will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be able to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and technical support within their respective team, business units and/or associated clients and markets, create timely and accurate accounting transactions and premium signings. You will have attention to detail and accuracy, a high level of accountability and problem-solving, self-motivation, can work with a degree of autonomy, strong computer skills and robust communication skills.

Your new job working as a Senior Operations Technician means you will be acting as the go to person for all technical auditing, authorisation and issuance support. You will have an ability to demonstrate excellent technical insurance knowledge and understanding of the industry and its regulators. Your new job will be responsible for auditing and authorising invoices and evidence of cover documentation as well as ensuring the documentation is compliant with the information agreed within the Market Reform Contract Slip and any associated instruction or schedule. Demonstrating a working understanding of all the resources available in relation to current Tax and VAT requirements associated with the successful completion of day-to-day activities and extensive understanding of MRCs.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as working as a Technician within a Lloyd's Broker handling any of the following classes Property, Liability, Marine, Construction, Financial Lines and Fine Art will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally, you will have a strong understanding and experience in checking and auditing invoices and all types of evidence of cover documents. You will be able to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and technical support within the team, ensuring the timely accurate issuance of high-quality compliant Insurance documentation. You will have excellent attention to detail and accuracy within your new role, a high level of accountability, self-motivation, able to work with a degree of autonomy, strong computer and robust communication skills.
