Your new role
Your new role of Facilities Service Delivery Manager will see you reporting to the Facilities Estate Manager. While the successful candidate will be the line manager for a team of 16 employees based in Bristol.
Job Summary
As the new Facilities Service Delivery Manager, you will be tasked with becoming a key member of the Facilities & Estate Management team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and management of the services delivered. These are highlighted below:
- Maintainance
- Catering
- Housekeeping
- Landscaping
While the successful candidate will be expected to take a productive approach in the monitoring and delivery of services by contractors and the safe delivery of the department services. Additionally, the role will require a close working relationship with other departments within the organisation to continuously identify improvements which can be made to the service provided.
What you'll need to succeed
Key Responsibities
- Lien Manager, support and develop the facilities and estate Administration co-ordinators under the supervision of the head of estate and facilities
- Provide a safe, secure, clean, fit-for-purpose environment for all site users and visitors. Ensuring that all Health and Safety measures are met and compiled with.
- Be responsible for the performance and appraisals of all premise related staff inline with the Hospice's outlined policies and procedures.
- Monitor work routines on a regular basis
- Develop efficient working relationships with all key department supervisors making sure that all procedures and standards are being maintained by estate staff.
- Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance is completed within budget and timescale, while also ensuring all urgent repairs are archived within a given timeframe so that the hospice's environment is safe, comfortable and fully operational.
Key Skills
- IOSH or equivalent qualification for Health and Safety
- IOSH Fire Safety accredited
- A good understanding of Risk Management regarding fire, legionella, electrical and asbestos compliance
- Minimum 3 years in Facility and Estate experience
- Comfortable building and establishing relationships with existing stakeholders, and wider internal teams
- Being able to work a deal with work schedules of planned and repair works
- Display a positive attitude to any day to day issues which may occur
