This position ensures that all aspects of building and facilities maintenance in the Schools is at optimum operational condition and conforms to up to date regulatory and safety requirement at all times.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preventative maintenance and ensure all facilities operate efficiently and conform to operating standards.
- Hands-on in meeting urgent repairs/complaints on electrical services, plumbing and sanitary requests.
- Proper maintenance of interior and exterior walls of buildings, appliances and equipment in the building.
- Conduct day to day inspection activities/ checking building wear & tear and defects
- Mobilise and supervise contractors on major / rectification works.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety regulations
- Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures
- Ensure accurate updates/reports are done for all work progress and completion.
- Monitors and controls expenses within all areas of the department.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
- Any other duties that is assigned, inclusive of support for new school projects.
Requirements:
- Relevant Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec with 3 years relevant experience or
- 5 years of relevant working experience in major building maintenance/construction projects
- Possess a class 2B/3 license with own transport.
