- Prior experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Manual handling experience
- Experience operating automatic and semiautomatic machinery

- Able to wear full PPE
Role information:

- Operate specific process equipment
- Monitor processes
- Undertake detailed inspections
- Carry out manual handling tasks
- Participate in improvement tasks relating to safety, quality, delivery and costs

Food Production Operative







Contract Type: Permanent

Hours of work: Full time between the hours of 6.30am – 6.00pm (includes Sunday)

Salary: Competitive



Based at our state-of-the-art distribution centre on the outskirts of Preston, James Hall & Co. Ltd. have been established for

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals, who have an interest in food preparation and a keen eye for detail, to be part of a
team of Food Production Operatives who will play a key role in producing our range of high-quality ready meals.

Based at our modern distribution centre in Preston, you will be instrumental in the creation of high-quality meals which will be
prepared, packed and sent out to our SPAR stores across the north of England.



What will I be doing?

As a Food Production Operative, you will support the Production Manager with preparing and cooking food in line with our high
standards. You will help to maintain a safe and clean environment whilst adhering to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
requirements. Full training will be provided so do not hesitate to apply!

interview. A background in food production or preparation would of course be an advantage, but really this is about finding those
