Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Engineer within the unit & missile assembly manufacturing facility your focus will be to ensure that our products are built efficiently and to budget. A key member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will carry out activities in support of multi-project manufacturing.

What you'll be leading on

Answering emergency roadside calls
Mobilising On Road teams, such as Traffic Officers, Inspectors and Maintenance Contractors, to emergencies and other requests
Transmitting and receiving messages via the radio to Traffic Officers and Emergency Services

Informing other emergency services and utility companies where required.

The candidate will be responsible for checking in MOD owned/leased kit to various areas within MBDA and must have prior experience in booking in/out of kit and updating the computer records. The candidate will also be responsible for loading the manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs to comply with manufacturing programmes and delivery schedules. Other tasks include packaging using hand tools, issuing and receiving tooling, kitting, and loading and unloading of Lorries.

The technician will ensure product certification, use appropriate equipment, tools, gauges, callipers, and measuring instruments, and produce, repair, and modify company products following build standards and specifications.

As a Live Build Manufacturing Technician, you will manufacture, test, and inspect products according to certification procedures, project objectives, budgets and timescales.
