• You will be responsible for the preparation of detailed Formal Work Packages (FWP) and Controlled Work Packages (CWP).
• You will provide Production Control (Electronics Planning) services to support the repair, overhaul, modification, alteration, and manufacture of various products.
• You will be responsible for planning for the accomplishment of preventive and corrective maintenance work and/ or alterations on complex systems, sub-systems, and components.
• You will develop man-hour estimates required for work accomplishment using Labor Standards and Uniform Method and Standard tools.
• You will conduct research of technical information prior to the preparation of work packages using available resources to develop accurate Job Material Lists providing accurate material cost estimates and aid in procurement of in-use materials.

The duties and responsibilities of a Utility Systems Repairer - Operator, WG-4742-11 generally include, but are not limited to the following:

*Installs and repairs air condition systems to provide exact temperature levels in special conditions.
*Identifies the cause of faulty air conditioning equipment and provides repairs, modifications, and relocates equipment on various special-purpose air conditioning units and systems.
*Operates utility systems of extremely large capacity and flexibility.
*Troubleshoots unusual malfunctions on advanced equipment and systems.
*Serves as "operator in charge" of utility systems operations.
*Maintains, operates, and repairs boilers or emergency electrical generators.

• Operating vehicles including passenger cars, station wagons, and pickup trucks.
• Loading and unloading passenger luggage.
• Maintaining safety and security of all passengers and cargo while also remaining punctual to any predetermined timetable.
• Schedule increasingly complex operations involving high numbers of passengers.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance if necessary as well as prepare daily reports on vehicle condition or accidents that have occurred.
• May serve as an authorized courier of classified material.

• Assists in starting equipment via touch screen, adjusts and help operate a variety of automatic bindery machines containing multiple functions and station capabilities.
• Assists in combining electro-mechanically with other equipment and devices to produce a complete bindery and finishing unit that processes printed sheets into final books, catalogs, manuals, directories, magazines or other completed products.
• Assists in making needed adjustments to coordinate the multiple workstations on a single machine.
• Observes how to interpret job orders, which may be for one-of-a-kind materials; documents how to plan bindery operations utilizing the most efficient procedures and methods to meet job requirements to complete a combined finishing operation.
• Shadows Bindery Operators in inspecting the work-in-process throughout the manufacturing process of U.S. Passports, Passport related components, Smart Cards, and Smart Card related components.
