We are looking for a suitably experienced pharmaceutical senior production technician to join our chemotherapy aseptic preparation and dispensing team based in Guy's Cancer Centre. The candidate should be an enthusiastic team player who is able to demonstrate excellent organisational & training skills, effective communication, and has an excellent working knowledge of GMP and manufacturing experience of pharmaceuticals.

Strong foundations in GMP practices, preparing PQS documents such as deviations, change controls and CAPA documents is required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Supporting the Principal Pharmacy Technicians (Aseptic Services) in the running of the chemotherapy unit and supervising the production operators in the clean room environment.
• • To ensure the safe, efficient and compliant manufacture of a range of pharmaceuticals under section 10 exemption of the Human Medicines Regulations 2012
• Ensure excellent GMP practices are maintained at all times
• • To train junior staff members in aseptic production practices
• To supervise a cohort of pharmacy assistants and production technicians in both preparation and dispensing activities.
• To participate in the aseptic technical verification of screened prescriptions in EPIC
• To manage the workload in both cleanrooms and support areas
• To ensure that effective usage of the raw materials is undertaken and minimise wastage
• To ensure that daily physical monitoring is maintained and QMH courier is organised in a timely manner for daily delivery
• To act as team lead on weekend working

The Chemotherapy Preparation and Dispensing Unit is located at the Guy's Hospital Site and produces a variety of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) for use within the hospital trust for patients.

A satellite Cancer Centre unit is based at Queen Mary's Hospital (QMH) - Sidcup that offers our cancer patients the opportunity for treatment closer to home.

CPDU works in close collaboration with the Quality Assurance team and other pharmacy aseptic services units in the Trust across sites; licensed and unlicensed units.

As an overview general duties include the following, for full details refer to the JD provided.
1. To supervise all technical aspects of aseptic preparation and to ensure products are made to the highest quality, enforced by GMP and QA systems and that they are fit for their intended use.
2. To act as a role model to staff working throughout the department.
3. To undertake any other reasonable duties as specified by the Principal technician and senior team.
4. To assist in recruitment and selection of staff to the Trust’s Pharmacy Manufacturing unit and assist in recruitment to the pharmacy as a whole.
5. To be the responsible supervisor critical checker within production areas and to undertake when required preparation and dispensing of raw materials and other products.

Senior Pharmacy Education and Training Pharmacy Technician / Production Technician for Aseptic Services

An exciting opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as Senior Pharmacy Education and Training Technician / Production Technician for Aseptic Services within the training department at Bart’s Health NHS Trust, Pharmacy Technical Services (PTS).

PTS is a licensed manufacturing unit with three sites, Royal London Hospital which is based at Whitechapel, St. Barts Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital.

The post holder will be responsible for the training and supervision of SMT trainees and rotational staff within the production areas. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all training documentation is current and updated in a timely manner in line with MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) audits and internal reviews.

Applicants must hold a NVQ BTEC Level 3 in pharmaceutical Science Registered with Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

or Science Manufacturing Technician (SMT) Level 3 or a relevant Science degree registered with the required Regulatory body.

FM Conway is currently seeking a HIAB Operator to join our Street Lighting division. As our HIAB Operator you will be working within a team working on electrical lighting installations across a range of high-profile projects in Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, Camden and Brent.

The duties of the role will include:

-Working within health and safety plans, safe systems of work and risk assessments

-Interpreting scaled drawings of basic electrical installations and detailed drawings of underground cabling

-Undertaking excavations, installations & takedowns of street lighting furniture

Air Export Operator – Hounslow TW8 - £13.80 per hour – Full Time Hours

Centric Talent are currently recruiting for a talented and Air Export Operative to join our clients team based at their air operating centre in Hounslow.

We are looking for an experienced candidate with a demonstratable background in Air Operations.

Air Export Operator - The Role & Responsibilities
.

- Shipment Coordination: Plan and manage air freight export shipments according to customer needs, including booking shipments and preparing necessary documentation like Airway Bills and Shippers’ Export Declarations.
- Customs Documentation: Prepare and submit customs documentation, including export declarations, export licenses, and other required paperwork to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Customer Service: Communicate with Control Towers to provide updates on shipment status, resolve any issues that arise, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking and tracing data, and ensure all quality control procedures are followed
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any shipment irregularities or issues that may occur during the transportation process.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including customs regulations and export procedures.



Experience needed for this role

- Ideal candidate will have previous experience in air freight operations
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Export
- Previous experience of working with cargo wise would be advantageous.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a natural and strong communicator with the ability to problem solve and adapt.

Air Export Operator - Working Hours

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 0900 – 1800 with one additional Saturday every 4 week.
