Our Vending Operators are key to maintaining our 24/7 service to our Client, in their business this is key!

• To assist in providing an excellent standard of food and presentation for all vending machines at location.

• To refill the vending machines.
• To keep all vending machines clean, tidy and full at all times.
• Manage own time effectively, working quickly and efficiently.
• Loading and moving of stock in cages, transportation of stock to each location as required. Sometimes this can be cages holding multiple cases of stock (water etc).
• To provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.

Starting salary of £22,300, rising to £24,000 after probation

We are looking for someone with suitable experience for a Workshop Operative position at our clients branch in Edinburgh. For this position we require an enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude. It is a Monday – Friday dayshift position, starting at 8.00am in the morning.

You will assist with daily workshop activities and provide installation, maintenance and support for the company's multi-functional devices products such as photocopiers and printers.

Applicants must have previous and related technical workshop experience and be able to become competent at working with copier and print devices, which you will receive full training on of course.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will be to provide workshop and maintenance support, do pre-delivery inspections and set-up machine to be ready for installations, and helping with refurbishment works on machines.

BBC Switchboard Operator

Salary: £11.44 up to £11.90

Contract: Temporary ongoing, no set end date.

• To provide a professional operator service, acting as the common interface for internal and external callers within the BBC environment.
• You will answer all calls in a professional, courteous and efficient manner and be responsible for ensuring that all calls are connected to the desired destination.
• To perform operators' duties on the BBC Operator Services switchboard within the procedures laid down and familiarise oneself with all processes.
• To provide cover for sickness and annual leave as and when required, for day and night shifts
• To update the BBC Telephone database.

This may include but not limited to Robotics, Autonomous Systems, Manufacturing Automation, and their applications to Smart Manufacturing, e.g., AI/Data-driven Manufacturing Processes and Control, Advanced Metrology and Inspection, Systems/Tools for Quality Control, Robotic Handling and Production Systems, Autonomous Devices/Systems, Human-Machine Interfaces, Highly Resilient and Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems, as well as IoT and Cloud-based Production Systems, Digital Factory, or Digital Supply Chain Management.

For the role you will have a good honours degree and PhD (or significant relevant experience) in a design and manufacturing related discipline. You will have research experience and interests consistent with the strategic direction of the Department, Faculty and University and you will have experience of research leadership, including support of senior researchers in a University or industrial environment and management of research teams/projects/programmes.
