As a Forklift Driver there are various aspects of the process that you can get stuck into. So here's what to expect:

• Load and unload vehicles delivering or uplifting goods and materials.

• Assure material is adequately prepared for the next shift to maintain production planned output.

As a Production Operator you will be tasked with:

• Operating and monitoring production equipment and machinery
• Overseeing complete production processes
• Following standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure work completed to required standards
• Troubleshooting machine and equipment issues and carrying out minor maintenance tasks as necessary
• Carrying out quality checks and tests at various stages of the process ensuring related data logged
• Recording production data around waste, machine downtime, quality etc.

Production Operatives / Packing Operatives required for a dog food Production Facility in the TW4 area.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is based in Hounslow area and we are looking for experienced Production Operatives.

Shifts & Pay:
* Monday - Friday: 2 weeks 6am - 2pm & 2 weeks 2pm - 10pm at £13.15 per hour
* 40 hours per week. Breaks 40 minutes per shift - ALL PAID!

Duties will include:
* Picking and Packing computerised orders in a timely manner
* Making and packing boxes
* Loading and unloading boxes into the lorry
* Moving pallets and product and scanning to the correct locations
* Heat sealing packs
* Using a hand scanner to ensure correct products are picked and packed correctly
* Preparing all packs and boxes for dispatch
* Quality checking produce - ensuring it is correct and of the highest standards expected
* Maintain a food-safe sanitary environment at all times

Skills/Physical Requirement/Environment:
* Manual handling knowledge. Regularly lift and/or move 25kg's
* Regularly required to walk, stand, push
* Regularly exposed to work near packed meat products
* Excellent attention to detail

The Company:
Due to growth, this prestigious family run manufacturing company is now seeking a skilled production
operator to join their team on a permanent full time basis. Over the next few months alone, they are
planning to input millions of pounds worth of investment into manufacturing equipment on site in
order to automate the bulk of the production process. They will also be expanding their products and
introducing new production lines to improve efficiency and the overall profitability of the company.

The Role:
You will be working within a small close knit team taking responsibility for the smooth running of
production and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standard. This will include
operating and maintaining both the manual and automated machinery onsite. You will also be in
charge of quality checks, in process controls and inspections, resetting and alterations, interpreting
engineer drawings and general machinery cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements:
● Previous experience in tooling / industrial manufacturing environments e.g. molding, CNC
machinery or plastic manufacturing would be an advantage.
● Able to provide evidence of showing initiative / showing preventative maintenance.
● Previous experience operating/running production/process machinery
● Health and safety knowledge
● Previous experience as a machinist / setter or maintenance technician (desirable)
