We are currently recruiting for an experienced Loader Operator to join our team, based in the Gloucester area.

As a Loader Operator, you will handle all types and models of vehicles, from Fords to Ferraris, from BMWs to Bugatti's. You will be responsible for general duties including moving vehicles within the yard, operating vehicles and loading equipment. To move our vehicles you will use either JCB 417 articulated loaders or tractors.

Working in all weathers, you will be responsible for loading vehicles onto our transporters and moving vehicles within our Operation Centre. Your role will also include using a handheld device to complete daily maintenance checks whilst promoting a safe working environment. Every day brings a new challenge and a new car!

Your new role
As the Production Planner, you will be reporting to the Production Planning Manager with a dotted reporting line into the Head of Supply Chain. You will be expected to manage the production schedule whilst using their integrated software, SAP. As this role is a linchpin to their operation, you will be expected to manage upwards amongst your peers, think quickly, and adapt to changes within the production facility. You will need to communicate clearly with multiple divisions, including Materials, Sales, Production, Engineering, and Logistics.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Production Planner vacancy, you must have proven experience of working as a Production Planner, Materials Scheduler, Demand Planner or a similar role within the Supply Chain. Ideally, you'll have worked with SAP or a similar integrated MRP / ERP system previously. It would be highly advantageous to have worked within the Aerospace supply chain, but this isn't crucial to the success of your application.

As a Phoenix Bureau Operator you will maintain the accuracy and data quality of sensitive personal information on the Police National Computer (PNC).
