Job Description
Key responsibilities includes:
- Overseeing Human Resources functions across multiple regions (EMEA, America and SEA), ensuring alignment with both global and local strategies.
- Manage Talent Acquisition and development, ensuring the recruitment of top talent in key markets while fostering employee growth.
- Focus on compliance with international labour laws and certifications in markets the organisation is operating in.
- Enhancing employee engagement, managing cross-cultural teams, and implementing standardised HR practices across various geographies would be critical to driving performance and cohesion.
- Implement scaleable learning and development programs focused on skill enhancement, leadership development, and succession planning, tailored for dynamic teams with cross-functional responsibilities.
- Prioritise leadership development in emerging markets to build local HR capabilities.
- Design competitive yet cost-effective compensation and benefits frameworks that cater to regional market trends, while maintaining consistency and fairness across all regions.
- Oversee a streamlined benefits structure that is adaptable to the varying sizes of the regional teams.
- Work closely with leadership to maintain the company's reputation and manage its workforce strategy.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience.
- At least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role within the tyre, automotive, or chemical trading industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications like CIPD, SHRM, IHRP or equivalent are advantageous.
- Proven experience managing HR functions across multiple regions.
- Strong expertise in HR strategy, talent management, employee relations, and compliance in a global context.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and regional teams.
