To support Production Controller/Team Leader in managing a multi-skilled team, in line with core values and competencies, in delivering client contractual service levels consistently and to the required quality levels.

• Supporting the Team Leader in ensuring all operational staff receive required/appropriate training and support.
• Monitoring team delivery of service levels, escalating any issues or concerns to the Team Leader proposing actions to resolve where appropriate.
• Aiding and supporting to all end users by diagnosing and solving minor technical issues and processing problems, or, effectively reporting / escalating more complex issues to Production Controller/Team Leader and or Operations Management Team.

Job Description

We're hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to improve processes and ensure product quality, with expertise in Hi-Speed circuitry PCB design. Responsibilities include tests, mentoring, and continuous improvement. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to meet organizational requirements on time and within quality standards. This position also contributes to business planning and strategic decisions related to manufacturing, quality, and customer relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests, experiments, and analyses to support new product development and improvements.
• Provide testability input to Engineering on new product development and designs.
• Support test of analog/digital circuits and embedded devices.
• Develop new processes, test methodologies and/or test department for improved quality, lower cycle times, and lower costs.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Gathers and analyses information skillfully; works well in problem solving situations.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical aspects.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university, in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Proficiency in electronic troubleshooting and reading schematics.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, detail and assembly drawings, measuring instruments, and PCB design approaches for Hi-Speed circuitry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and data analysis proficiency.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on several projects at once.
• Familiarity with ATE and benchtop electronic test equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Avionics development experience with ARINC664, ARINC818, and ARINC429.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation concepts.
• Familiarity with VHDL (FPGA development) and analog circuit design.
• Understanding of configuration management principles.
• Familiarity with DO-160 test requirements and DO-254 process guidance.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Monitors and operates the switchboard including answering and directing incoming calls, placing outgoing calls, overhead paging and emergency response communication. Assists with the efficient operation of the department by providing support to the manager and guidance to the Telephone Operators. Assists in resolving minor problems/issues associated with staffing coverage and interactions with customers. Provides feedback about daily operations to management as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answers and directs all telephone calls and overhead paging inquiries for the efficient and timely operation of hospital communications. Triages and prioritizes calls as to their urgency, and accurately routes accordingly. (65%)
• Immediately responds to all alarms, security calls, and medical emergencies. Pages all persons designated to respond to emergencies. Immediately reports to the supervisor any problems with, or abuses of the alarm system. Logs emergency response information, as appropriate. May reprogram the computerized fire alarm system after it has been activated. (10%)
• Helps manager in resolving minor day-to-day issues/problems, e.g. staff coverage, interactions with customers; assists with rollout of new/revised procedures. (10%)
• Prepares work schedules for the department; prepares daily sheet for physician coverage and contact information. (10%)
• Maintains and cleans all switchboard equipment, identifying and resolving malfunctions to any equipment through defined problem correction procedures. (5%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years’ telecommunication or similar experience.
• Excellent telephone skills and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred

• Training as a Telephone Operator, Receptionist, or priority Dispatcher.
