Turners (Soham) Ltd is looking to recruit a Trainee Transport Operator, working at our Newmarket depot.
The main function of the role;
• Processing Customer Orders.
• Making sure the fleet of night drivers arrive on time and/or be able to react if they don’t show for any reason.
• Ensuring drivers are on track with their deliveries and collections using various systems available to us (Full training will be given).
• Dealing with any problems drivers may have while out on the road, liaising with the end customer if and when necessary.
The role will also involve some administration support with tasks such as order entry, data input and wages admin support.
The position is a full time permanent role.
The successful candidate will need good verbal and written communication and must be computer literate.
