You will be responsible for leading, training and motivating your team, ensuring production targets are met, quality levels are maintained and improvements implemented where possible.

The role:
·Plan, coordinate, and control the production to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget
Provide support, training, and mentoring of team members
Ensure the team is working efficiently to achieve high production and minimum downtime
Ensure on-time delivery, overtime reduction, and meeting production plan
Ensure maximum up-time on all production processes and machinery.

The Person:

Previous exposure to modern manufacturing techniques such as 5's and Kaizen would be of great interest

• completing production processes and operating with all stages of production

• adhering to all company procedures with regard to health and safety

Requirements

We would expect the successful production operative to have worked in a similar environment and be happy to work rotating shifts. You should be available to start immediately and be looking for ongoing, full time hours. Although this position starts on a temporary basis, there will be the opportunity for permanent contracts for those production operatives showing good reliability and a strong work ethic. You will have a good level of English, both verbal and written, with excellent communication skills

Excellent opportunity to work in a challenging manufacturing process improvement role in the Knaresborough area.

The role would suit either an experienced engineer or a graduate with previous placement experience in a relevant position.

The role:

• Assess machinery and chemical processes looking for opportunities to implement improvements and resolve manufacturing issues
• Lead and support operational improvement projects, including lean initiatives, process and process flow improvements
• Assist with new product introduction, Produce and ensure SOP's
• Undertake time and motion studies and work with maintenance and production teams to improve where possible
• Practical problem solving, root cause analysis and rectification
• Undertake projects on existing production to improve output and quality

The person:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in manufacturing or chemical engineering
• Understanding of modern techniques and systems in manufacturing improvement.
• Experience of manufacturing control systems and associated control of data fields
• Good understanding of problem-solving techniques such as 8D
• Confident trainer and able to communicate at all levels
• Able to influence change

You will be required to produce a range of components for steel and aluminum fabrications at high-quality levels in a busy production environment. The role is permanent from day one.

As the CNC setter operator you will be responsible for:

• Work on HAAS Milling Machines
• Working on drawings setting up machines and tooling
• Produce precision components from drawings

You will:

• Have experience working within a CNC Milling setting, operating or programming
• Can help produce and design custom jigs and fixtures
• Ideally, I have worked with HAAS machines previously
• Have experience producing one-off, bespoke precision components
• Be able to read, interpret, and work on engineering drawings
• Have a can-do attitude

You will be responsible for setting up and operating of precision CNC Routers to produce high-quality parts. Training will be required to operate the machines as they are non-standard so we can consider anyone with a background in CNC who is happy to learn.

As the CNC Setter Operator you will:
Learn to operate set and run precision CNC routers
Undertake tool changes and program editing
Produce components to production deadlines
Work to tight tolerances and strict quality standards

You will::
Ideally, be apprentice trained or hold a relevant engineering qualification
Have confident CNC setting and operating experience
Have experience working to high-quality standards and have used measuring equipment previously

Production Planner required for a fast-paced and challenging role in manufacturing. The role would suit either someone with previous work-based experience or graduates with a relevant degree in manufacturing or engineering. As the Production Planner, you will be responsible for:
Production and demand planning effectively to ensure on-time delivery to customers
Developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products and product phase-outs

Building strong customer relationships and providing an excellent level of service
Reviewing and improving processes where possible
