Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for a Production Operative(s) based in Chepstow.
Our client is looking for candidates to process commercial garments and items to a high standard following laundry procedures.
This position is initially a temporary position, but they will be looking to take a select few on a temp to perm.
The shift pattern for this Production Operative role as follows:
06:30 AM til 14:30 PM (Monday to Thursday) & 06:00 AM till 12:30 PM (Friday).
The rate of pay for this Production Operative role is:
Day shift: £10.92ph
Duties for the Production Operative role are:
- Unloading and pre-sorting of linen, towels, and products from the vans and lorries arriving at the loading bay ready for processing.
- Sorting dirty laundry ready to be washed.
- Load/Unload the commercial washers, in the correct manner as trained.
- Load/Unload the wet/dry products into the dryers as trained.
- Move linen through the factory floor as directed to the next required station for their processing to continue.
- Any items found below quality, at the press and folding areas place in the correct area for re-wash whilst maintaining good productivity.
- Packing finished items for delivery to our clients and loading linen and other items onto the vans as required.
All new starters on their first day will be shown an induction training video bringing you up to speed with all procedures and processes.
