Training will be provided in our aseptic unit based at Southampton General Hospital, this role will then be based at Adanac Park, which is our new state of the art aseptic unit just a few miles away. Key Responsibilities:As a Pharmacy Technician/Science Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for: Providing clear and effective verbal and written communication. Working with other healthcare professionals to resolve challenges in medicine supply and ensure patient care is not compromised. Achieving and maintaining core competencies, including aseptic preparation and a Pre and In Process Checking accreditation. Progressing through the competency framework with a focus on the safe and effective delivery of Pharmacy aseptic services. Initially supervising pharmacy support workers and junior staff, allocating tasks to meet workload demands. After competency completion, leading and planning the day-to-day work of staff, including managing the supervision of a cleanroom. Acting as a mentor and role model for junior staff, offering guidance, training, and support to foster their professional development.
