Location: Abbotsford, VICTORIA.
Purpose of the position
This position is responsible for supporting the CEO ensure the optimal running of Investa Projects. It has specific responsibilities for program and project management, reporting and analysis, ERP management and enhancement. Additionally, the position exists to provide the CEO with support in driving key initiatives to grow the business and optimise its efficiency.
Responsibilities and duties
1. Conducting six-monthly project prioritisation matrix
2. Developing, negotiating, and approving modifications to existing projects within the organisation
3. Managing stakeholders' engagement
4. Overseeing financial aspects of projects, including managing budget, cash flow and accounts payable.
5. Leading the company and project's reporting and analysis and providing insights to enhance the performance
6. Manage the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, acting as the system administrator prioritising projects for its enhancement.
7. Responsible for the delivery of all project documentation, including functional requirements, equipment asset details, budget, work orders, completion of work, progress payments and schedule.
8. Monitor job status for every project, from inspection, quotation/proposals, contractual agreement, budget approvals, variance approvals, work and purchase orders, completion of works - including quality assurance, certificates of completion, warranty, and other handover requirements.
9. Developing and implementing change management strategies and plans for projects and/or change initiatives.
The Senior Project Manager will need to work closely with the Contract Administrator acting as their direct manager to ensure the accuracy, negotiation and compliance of contracts with suppliers, customers and subcontractors.
What you’ll need to succeed in the role:
-At least 3 years of experience as Project Manager
-A degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
-Proven experience in managing and enhancing NetSuite as the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
-Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines.
-Sound contract management knowledge
-Leadership skills and ability to manage
- High level of accuracy in managing contracts, project documentation, and financial reporting.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in overseeing project finances, including budgeting, cash flow management, and accounts payable.
