Major duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Employee is recognized as a subject matter expert and agency authority on acquisition project management involving the acquisition, definition, evaluation, and delivery of professional services and IT projects and commercial acquisitions.

  Manages incrementally funded projects, coaches project managers to anticipate influx of client funding and contractor costs.
• Serves in a senior project management capacity as a critical liaison establishing and maintaining mutual understanding and cooperation between GSA, clients, and industry on highly controversial and/or sensitive matters.

Major duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Champions the client missions and acquisition needs of customers within all Acquisition Procurement Center of Excellence (APEX) sectors. As such, is an agency expert on client needs and requirements, working with client senior executives or leaders to ensure GSA acquisition solutions and services continue to evolve in line with dynamic changes to client mission, financial, business, or strategic needs and objectives.
• Serves as technical program and project expert-consultant, and manager responsible for providing expert advice to satisfy unusual or sensitive requirements, generate new programs, and program components to further state-of-the-art efficiency and effectiveness of GSA to deliver critical client acquisition needs and projects.
• Oversees and leads subordinates in developing and executing nationwide and Governmentwide acquisition business projects that directly impact client programs of nationwide and/or worldwide significance.

• Provides expert advice to and collaborates with key SCM management concerning all Division mission critical program activities.
