Role Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet business objectives and sales forecasts within the trade channel. Focus on key customer groups and initiatives like new product launches, market trends, promotions, and competitor activity to maximise opportunities.
• Promotional Campaign Management: Lead and execute promotional campaigns, ensuring effective follow-up sales activities.
• Account Management & Growth: Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new key customer accounts. Work closely with these customers to identify their needs and opportunities for mutually beneficial, profitable growth.
• Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast and plan sales activity, reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and meet targets.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and support across all areas of the business, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.

This school is a centre of excellence in alternative provision offering academic and vocational qualifications to students from within the local authority, alongside a short stay provision to provide supportive interventions for identified mainstream students, and an outreach team providing targeted support to secondary students within mainstream schools.

Contact Lens Technician- The Role

• To receive inspected product from QC Laboratory and to tint the product according to customer requirements, ensuring finished work is to a good quality and tint parameters measure within set company tolerances pre-sterilisation.
• To reject any non-conforming product.
• To prepare product for final packaging.
• To complete final checks of the product post-sterilisation before despatch (colour checking, labelling/completion checking)
• To adhere to all Health and Safety policies/procedures.
• To process orders through the Tinting Department in a timely fashion.
• Assist in the smooth running of the company by assisting other areas when required.

Contact Lens Technician - Requirements

• Previous experience of working in optics
• Must have experience of handing contact lenses
• Able to understand optical terminology
• High level of accuracy
