The role:

You do not need any technical electrical knowledge or qualifications to apply for this role as we're looking for a motivated individual who has managed projects and is eager for a new challenge.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery, including scope, requirements, programme, risk, and contract management along with project controls and reporting:

• Facilitate, develop, and agree requirements, project scope and solutions for specific outputs and work packages in design and physical works phases
• Manage the planning, monitoring and control of work packages being delivered by internal and external resources/contracts
• Forecasting of costs and monitor and report against budget
• Application of configuration and change control to design packages
• Contribute to the risk process including the identification, assessment, planning and implementation of risks, opportunities and issues

This role is full time, 36 hours based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard with hybrid working from home arrangements.

Experience of the Project Manager

• Assisting the management of project delivery in a Nuclear Licensed Site environment (Desirable)
• Design technical governance and configuration through construction and application of change control
• Management of NEC4 suite of contracts (ECC & PSC options A, C & E) (Desirable)
• CEMAR software (Desirable)

Qualifications for the Project Manager

• Minimum of HNC/HND (Degree preferred) in a relevant engineering discipline OR Relevant Experience
• APM project management qualification (minimum PMQ)
• NEC Accredited Project Manager (preferred) - Will fund qualification if you do not have this
• IOSH - Will fund accreditation if you do not have this

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.

Following the confirmation of new projects to upgrade a couple of existing food and drink manufacturing facilities, we’re now looking to recruit for some key roles to support us in Northwest Exeter:

Project Site Manager
Safety Officers
As our new Project Site Manager you’ll be responsible daily for the operations of up to 300 contractors.

Please only apply if you:

Have previously overseen a construction project of this scale
Have previous experience of working within the food and drinks industry
Have experience of managing projects involving equipment upgrade and installation of new plant and equipment
Have a NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management
Have a CSCS Black Card, have SMSTS, are First Aid trained and are a temporary works coordinator.
Can commit to this project until April 2027
It was also be preferable if you have PASMA and IPAF.

Please note, that we’re open to this role being a full-time role, or a part-time role with 2 Project Site Managers overlapping mid-week.

Owing to the rural location of this project, we’re providing accommodation allowance for the duration of the project. Therefore this may suit someone who lives further away but is happy to work on site and live close to site for the duration of the project and then home when not working.

Please note that even though this is an opportunity that at the moment is project based, there is a high likelihood that other projects will be available at the end of the contract, should you wish to continue to partner with EHS.
