About the role

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our team as the Business Support Team Co Ordinator. The role involves overseeing and co-ordinating the work of the station's Business Support Team, who provide multi-skilled administration support to the whole station.

The Business Support Team is a central part of the station's performance improvement department and the co-coordinator is required to lead the team to support business improvement and administration activities for the whole station including; key performance indicator management, meeting pack preparation, organisational learning support, event organisation, communications and purchasing support working with a wide range of stakeholders.

The Role

Ensuring with Group Head support that the business support team workers support safe and reliable operation of the plant and maintain full compliance with agreed safety and environmental standards and expectations. Pro-actively develop effective working relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and offer advice and solutions to problems, Setting and reinforcing standards of work Arranging sufficient cover for all business support functions within working hours. Ensure the business support team are sufficiently cross-skilled to provide a flexible business support. Ensure the Open Learning Centre is open and available and create a supportive and inclusive work environment where team members feel valued, motivated, and empowered to contribute their best.

Be responsible for the successful management of key station processes including.

• Purchase requisitions
• Completing visa orders
• Printing training material
• Supporting on-line training delivery
• Support station communications team
• Organisational learning administration tasks

Job Summary:
Our Client is seeking a People Business Partner to join their team for a period of 3 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert support on directorate people projects, enhancing the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional and responsive employee relations (ER) advice and support with serious and complex employment matters.
• Undertake the review, development and implementation of ER, and related, policies, procedures and guidance and develop and deliver associated ER briefing sessions in partnership with People Services colleagues.
• Develop and maintain effective partnership working in all aspects of ER activity.
• Promote productive employee relations through effective consultation and negotiation, particularly where there are issues of dispute including attendance at corporate and directorate consultative groups, as appropriate.
• Represent the company at Employment Tribunal hearings, as required.

Requirements:

• Experience in case work predominantly, including disciplinary, capability, grievance, bullying and harassment, absence, recruitment and work force planning.
• Expertise in providing advice, guidance and challenge to the management of organisational design and structure, facilitating the formulation and implementation of change plans, including formal job evaluation.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Chartered Membership of the CIPD or equivalent.

• Regularly monitor your own and team's work against milestones ensuring individual needs are considered when setting tasks.
• Familiarity of supporting the delivery of large SaaS products, preferably ServiceNow, or similar in a rapid cadence is also considered highly desirable for one of the vacancies.
• Experience of identifying and managing risks to ensure successful delivery.
