As a Demonstrations Specialist at Konica Minolta, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional demonstration experiences to clients, showcasing the advanced capabilities and features of our print hardware and solutions portfolio. What you’ll be doing

Starting in September 2024 as a project management apprentice, you’ll develop your experience and knowledge through working on a variety of exciting projects, from multi-million-pound investment and improvement schemes to vital safety and innovation projects that shape how we build and operate our roads.

Guided and mentored by experienced project professionals, you’ll explore the full lifecycle of project delivery, planning and management. You’ll also complete a programme of learning that will help you achieve professional recognition as a member of the Association for Project Management (APM).

At the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have opportunities to continue your career journey with us and be at the heart of projects that deliver real impact in connecting the country.

We have vacancies across various divisions of National Highways including Major Projects, Safety, Engineering and Standards and Operations. Although based in Bedford you’ll need to be willing to travel to other locations when needed.

Project Support Officer - Stop Smoking Project Support Officer

To communicate with patients directly on a daily basis, managing the through flow of internal and external telephone calls for the Stop Smoking Team.

The post holder will prioritise and take appropriate action; including the issue of urgent prescription requests where necessary.

Manage the through flow of internal and external written correspondence with patients, keeping records updated as required through the Quit Manager database.

Provide an effective link with Stop Smoking Service providers, including Primary Care, Pharmacy and other internal and external contacts.

This role will require appropriate judgment from the post holder to ensure that enquiries or contacts are effectively sifted and re-routed.

To act as a focal point for incoming calls, responding to potentially difficult and sensitive issues with an empathetic approach.

The post holder will be required to relay information to the appropriate manager to ensure matters are dealt with as a matter of urgency.

Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the Smokefree Bedfordshire Website; updating content, newsfeeds and supporting service users via the ‘one to one’ online support function.

To assist with regular undertaking of public involvement surveys with potential, past and current service users.

The post holder will collate responses on a central database so that comments, compliments and complaints can be passed on to the customer relations team.

• Demonstrable experience of ability to hit the ground running and successfully deliver complex projects in fast-paced commercial environments.

What you\'ll get in return
A contract role lasting for an initial period of three months with the potential of extension. A rate of up to £400 per day that is outside IR35. The role is based in Bedford with the requirement being two days per week on site.
