Your new role

- Delivery of all capital projects to budget, ensuring turnover is managed in line with forecast.
- Delivery of all construction projects on the program with 100% compliance with client specifications and corporate standards.

Base Location – Mogden in South West London but the flexible base location is within the central Thames Water geographical area. There will be requirement to be office based 5 days per week.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 36 hours a week.

What you should bring to the role?

- Background within Utilities or Engineering sectors is essential.
- Experience managing a project to delivery.
- Have an operational management experience, minimum team of 5.
- Sound experience in commercial awareness and budgets.
- Hold a relevant Health & Safety qualification. (NEBOSH or similar)
- Have proven experience in managing a large team in person and remotely.
- Possess a tenacious and resilient personality with the ability to work with confidence in a Challenging, Reactive environment.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have your transport.

Bank Contract - Day Controller / Planner

We are looking for a dynamic thinkers to support our local planning of patient journeys . The role involves effectively planning patient journeys to and from home / health care setting using our cleric system and against set key performance indicators.


Our patients have varying clinical and mobility needs, some of our patients travel regularly with us into renal and oncology units. Our patients and staff are our priority, ensuring we show care, compassion and empathy.


You will need a calm approach under pressure, have geographical knowledge of working areas. Customer service skills are also key as you will be liaising with patients, clinics and our staff, keeping calm under pressure and following the Trust's vision and values.

Responsible for the planning of transport for future dates. Responsible for the control of ambulance service resources for the current day. To ensure all patients on our transport get home as quickly as possible.

The Role:

• Managing a team of Drivers who deliver across the UK but predominately within London and the M25 zone.
• You will have autonomy and responsibility for managing the costs and purchases within transport (buying new fleet, maintenance contracts, purchasing of fuel and ad-blue) etc
• Utilising your knowledge to maximise efficiencies in planning routes (considering, the relevant zones and charges for driving in London and M25 areas)
• Support, training and assisting drivers with daily issues (VOR's, delivery queries)
• Manage all transport compliance (Driving regulations in line with legal requirements
• Plan and communicate multi drop routes.
• Scheduling all servicing and MOTs of the fleet.
• Recruiting and managing all staff within transport (currently a team of 3 people)
• Communicate and work with the General Manager and Operations Manager to maximise efficiencies across the department and to work with internal teams (Warehouse & Sales) to help meet the overall objectives of our company.
