Construction Planner / Senior Planner - Leading Construction Contractor

Location: Bristol

Responsibilities

• Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work
• Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Liaising with surveyors, engineers and architects
• Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders
• Breaking large jobs down into phases of development
• Using project management tools to plan timeframes
• Working with estimators to calculate the resources needed for a project
• Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change
• Meeting with contractors and suppliers
• Demonstrating knowledge of construction
• Managing several projects with the support of junior planners
• Working between offices and construction sites

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management office (PMO) operations, systems implementation, and project management methodologies within the construction industry
• Advanced proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Experience in the construction industry, particularly within the commercial new build sector

Contract Personnel are currently seeking individuals with exceptional customer service and sales abilities for an outbound sales role to drive new leads.

Previous experience in call centres, cold calling, or telesales is preferred, but enthusiastic, quick learners with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with decision-makers over the phone
- Scheduling leads and call-backs for the Account Management Team
- Conducting targeted outbound calls to expand market share
- Handling inbound sales enquiries
- Creating opportunities through new and existing business relationships
- Contacting new, lapsed, or current customers to generate leads and attract new business.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm (no weekends)

Salary £23k basic, but increases to £24,500 (after probation)

Average OTE £32k

• Role: Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

• Location: Maidstone.

• Pay Rate: £380 - £420.

• Availability: ASAP.

Duties:

• Liaise with site management under design and procurement issues.
• Analyzing mechanical and thermal devices to find solutions for repairs or innovations.
• Maintain health and safety standards always.
• Oversee day to day tasks and duties.
• Make sure everyone completes their personal roles and responsibilities.
• Have water treatment experience and correct mistakes.
• Ensure Engineering designs are correct and followed properly.
• Being able to coordinate different production teams simultaneously.
• Do Multiple daily product insurance and safety checks to prevent risk of hazards.
• CSCS.

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline.
• First aid.
• CSCS.
• Experience in the water and MEICA industry.
• Experience in complex and long lasting projects.
